WHO & WHAT
Rainfactory is looking for a Product Marketing Manager (PMM) who can lead the planning, development, and execution of crowdfunding campaigns, go-to-market tests, and eCommerce launches for a wide variety of clients in the tech and consumer goods sectors.
The PMM orchestrates the entire project; you can think of them as the band manager–booking artists (products), scheduling shows (product launches), and choosing the right bands (products) to perform based on market trends. They ensure the spotlight is on the right acts at the right time for maximum impact.
You know the project inside out, which is why you direct a team of professionals to ensure that every detail is carried out according to plan. You’re also responsive to insights that emerge along the way and can pivot accordingly. In that vein, you must be data literate and data-driven. No one can control the market or guarantee a company’s success. What you can do is ask intelligent questions, generate hypotheses, gather data, and harness data-informed insights + our team’s creativity to constantly strive for excellence. REQUIREMENTS
- The ability to work full-time in a US time zone, 5 days a week.
- University degree or equivalent work experience.
- Fluency in English.
- Demonstrated aptitude for process improvement.
- Creative and adaptable.
- You understand what makes people love brands.
- You have either participated in or launched a crowdfunding campaign.
- 2+ years of management experience in a digital creative (or technical) environment.
- 1+ years working with Shopify eCommerce stores that earn more than $100k annual revenue.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Data literacy.
BONUS POINTS
- Vendor/Client Management Experience.
- Experience with Asana, Slack, Google Docs, Shopify, Amazon, HTML/Javascript, Google Ads, Facebook, Figma, Klaviyo, and any eCommerce tools.
- Experience developing email marketing campaigns.
- Experience with social media management.
- Experience developing ads.
- Second Language such as Mandarin or Korean.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Directing a small team in the creation of mobile responsive landing pages.
- Designing and implementing campaigns for online crowdfunding on Indiegogo and/or Kickstarter, pre-order, and orders on Shopify.
- Developing or sustaining a company’s brand identity across multiple platforms.
- Ensuring that all elements of the project are on track and of high quality
- Navigating multiple departments in a fast-paced, team environment.
- Jumping in to help solve client issues and hiccups along the way.
- Communicating on an ongoing basis with internal teams and as necessary with external ones.
- Creating exciting, viral growth strategies, and building beautiful customer experiences.
- Prioritizing well amidst dozens of important tasks.
- Working collaboratively to quickly and efficiently accomplish objectives.

NON-NEGOTIABLES
- 3+ years experience managing marketing campaigns.
- Expected salary range: $60k - $75k USD annually, based on experience.
- Must be able to work in a US time zone, full-time for 5 days a week.
- Must be able to start immediately.
- Must be someone the team will be excited to work with.
