The Opportunity
Are you equal parts strategist and executor, ready to lead a high-impact B2B brand where content drives credibility, campaigns drive revenue, and innovation moves the needle? If you love taking ownership of a brand’s presence in the market while stretching the boundaries of what’s possible, this could be the role for you.
We’re seeking a Brand Manager to lead the RAIN Group brand stream within our dynamic, global marketing team. You’ll own and drive brand, digital, and creative strategy and execution for the RAIN brand, developing campaigns that fuel pipeline, reinforce our market leadership, and evolve how we show up in the age of AI.
This role is ideal for someone who’s resourceful, adaptable, and energized by rolling up their sleeves. You’ll need to think creatively, communicate confidently across levels, and thrive in a fluid, fast-paced environment.
Why Join Us?
- Lead a Marketing-led Brand: RAIN Group’s inbound marketing engine is a benchmark in the industry, generating significant pipeline through strategic initiatives.
- Embedded in a Global Team: You’ll be part of a post-acquisition transformation, leading RAIN brand strategy as we expand the marketing function and our high-performance team.
- Grow with a Scaling Organization: As part of a private equity–backed growth journey, you’ll contribute to strategic initiatives with executive-level reporting and growth targets.
- Remote-First, Results-Focused: Work from anywhere in the U.S. with autonomy and support from a team that values clarity, precision, and progress.
- Values-Driven Culture: We are dedicated to client results, excellence at speed, openness, and commitment to the success of others.
The Role
As Brand Manager for RAIN Group, you’ll be the strategic force behind one of the most respected sales training brands in the market. You’ll lead the next phase of growth by evolving how RAIN shows up, from campaigns and content to voice and visual identity. With a robust inbound engine and decades of thought leadership to build on, you’ll amplify what’s working, drive what’s next, and ensure every touchpoint drives visibility, credibility, and pipeline. This is your opportunity to shape brand performance in a high-growth, high-expectation environment where marketing leads the charge.
You will:
- Own the in-brand marketing calendar and campaign roadmap, guiding prioritization and sequencing across channels and tactics
- Develop marketing initiatives that directly contribute to pipeline growth and revenue generation
- Collaborate with sales, product, customer, and growth leaders to ensure alignment between go-to-market messaging and buyer needs
- Define and refine ideal customer profiles (ICPs) and buyer personas to inform campaign strategy and content development
- Lead content review and approvals, ensuring consistency in brand, voice, and messaging across all branded materials
- Conduct market research to stay on top of competitors, trends, risks, and opportunities
- Guide event planning and execution for virtual and in-person events
- Direct ABM programs and outbound strategy development in partnership with sales
- Develop and refine sales enablement content, including proposals, slide decks, and collateral
- Oversee SEO, keyword strategy, and paid digital efforts to maximize visibility and lead generation
- Establish performance benchmarks and lead reporting efforts that tie marketing results to revenue, informing investment decisions and supporting visibility with the board and PE stakeholders
- Identify and explore new ways to differentiate RAIN’s brand power and buyer experience in the AI era
- Shape customer marketing efforts that support retention, expansion, and advocacy
What You Bring
- 5-7 years of B2B marketing experience, ideally in consulting, professional services, or sales enablement environments
- Proven success in campaign strategy, content-based inbound marketing, ABM, and outbound initiatives
- Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills—able to create a clear, consistent voice that resonates with enterprise buyers
- Proficiency in PowerPoint design with the ability to create polished, on-brand presentations that support sales and executive communications
- Strong cross-functional collaboration skills and experience working within matrixed team environments
- Deep experience with HubSpot and digital tools like GA4 and Ahrefs
- Creative thinker with an experimental mindset—ready to test, iterate, and optimize fast
- Natural leadership qualities with the ability to influence and drive initiatives forward
