Senior IT Software Engineer (Mobile)

Location: Remote (must be based in Lithuania)

Contract: 12 months (with option to extend up to 12 more months)

Rate: Up to €55/hour

About the Role

We’re looking for a Senior IT Software Engineer (Mobile) to join a highly skilled squad focused on customer communication and digital channels. This role is ideal for a Kotlin expert with solid knowledge of iOS (Swift) who’s eager to build modern, secure, and user-friendly mobile solutions in the financial sector.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate within a mature, agile squad of experienced engineers.
• Develop and maintain high-quality, efficient, and scalable mobile apps.
• Ensure platform stability by contributing to incident resolution and bug fixing.
• Work in a Scrum team, following agile principles and best practices.
• Document technical work where needed and contribute to shared knowledge.
• Cooperate closely with architects, engineers, and business analysts.
• Drive innovation and help shape a robust mobile banking experience.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Expert-level Kotlin skills.
• Good working knowledge of iOS/Swift.
• Understanding of mobile UI/UX best practices.
• Experience with debugging and mobile-specific testing tools.
• Ability to mentor and guide junior developers.
• Bonus: Experience with frontend stacks or .NET.
• Upper-intermediate English (spoken and written).
• Proactive, curious, and eager to take on new challenges.
