Job Overview
As a Transaction Services Analyst/Specialist, you will oversee and process purchase orders (POs) for the Marketing team within the Strategy & Operations area. You will provide expert guidance on SAP purchasing policies and internal procedures, supporting the team with PO enablement, case reviews, and delivering high-quality assistance through the Marketing Services Request Center (MSRC). A strong understanding of SAP systems (Ariba, ISP, CRM, SAC) and exceptional customer service skills are essential.
Key Responsibilities
• Process Purchasing Requests: Efficiently manage spend requests, including the creation of shopping carts, maintenance of tracking codes (e.g., WBS Elements), and handling similar purchasing tasks based on business requirements.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with key teams such as Marketing Execution, Procurement, Compliance, Data Protection, Vendor Management, Finance, and others to ensure alignment and smooth operations.
• Request Tracking & Communication: Proactively monitor and communicate the status of requests to stakeholders, ensuring timely and high-quality service delivery.
• Policy & Process Compliance: Adhere to established processes and internal policies, ensuring all tasks are completed accurately and in compliance with company standards.
• Continuous Improvement: Contribute to ongoing optimization efforts by improving operational processes, tools, and data quality; support the development of new procedures that increase efficiency and effectiveness.
• MSRC Platform Support: Provide guidance on purchasing processes and handle Purchase Order requests for the Marketing team within the Strategy & Operations function via the MSRC platform.
• Dashboard Monitoring: Monitor the MSRC dashboard to ensure requests are processed in a timely manner; reassign or escalate Help Requests as appropriate.
• Ad-Hoc Support: Respond to urgent purchasing needs quickly and accurately, adapting to shifting priorities.
• Issue Resolution: Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders (e.g., GPO, Controlling, OEC, Marketing) to resolve purchasing-related issues efficiently.
Requirements
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in purchasing or operations roles within the IT or tech industry.
• Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Operations, or a related field.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken); additional languages are a plus.
• Strong communication skills with a high attention to detail.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to thrive in fast-paced, multicultural environments and collaborate effectively across teams.
• Proficiency in SAP tools and platforms, including Ariba, ISP, SAC Planning, CRM, and MSRC.
