We are looking for a full stack software engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate has experience building SaaS products across the full stack, with strong skills in web frameworks, APIs, and databases. Experience designing AI-driven features (AWS Bedrock) is a plus.  The full stack developer will join a team that uses modern technologies and frameworks to solve challenges for both the front-end and back-end architecture, ultimately delivering product features to our customers.

This position can be based out of our HQ in Portland, OR, or remote from anywhere in the U.S.

Essential Responsibilities & Duties:

  • Deliver scalable, secure, and reliable solutions across the full stack to enable exceptional user experiences.
  • Develop new features and infrastructure in support of rapidly emerging business and project requirements
  • Ensure application performance, uptime, and scale, and maintain high standards for code quality and application design
  • Work with agile development methodologies, adhering to best practices and pursuing continued learning opportunities
  • Participate in all aspects of agile software development, including design, implementation, and deployment
  • Architect and provide guidance on building end-to-end systems optimized for speed and scale
  • Build with modern technologies such as Angular, TypeScript, Node/NestJS, and Go.
  • Design features  that take advantage of AI functionality (AWS Bedrock)
  • Engage with inspiring designers and front-end engineers, and collaborate with leading back-end engineers to create reliable APIs
  • Help mentor junior developers
  • Collaborate across time zones via Slack, GitHub comments, documents, and frequent video conferences
  • Maintain high standards for code quality, security, and performance.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years building SaaS applications.
  • Proficiency with modern web frameworks (Angular, React, etc.) and RESTful APIs.
  • Experience with Go, NestJS, or Angular is a plus.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS preferred); exposure to AWS Bedrock is a plus.
  • Working experience with AWS Bedrock is a plus
  • Excellent debugging and optimization skills
  • Experience writing unit/integration tests
  • For this position, we ideally seek candidates who reside within commuting distance of our Portland office, allowing for easy access to in-person collaboration.
