Senior UX/UI Designer (Shopify) - Remote

We are seeking a Senior UI/UX Developer with deep expertise in Shopify to design, build, and optimize performant, scalable eCommerce features. This role blends front-end development and UX design, requiring collaboration across product, design, and engineering teams to deliver exceptional DTC experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design responsive, accessible features using Figma, aligned with UX best practices and adaptable across brand sites.
• Develop performant, reusable components using JavaScript, TypeScript, React, HTML/CSS, and Liquid.
• Build and maintain Shopify themes and features using Shopify’s latest technologies (Theme Blocks, Section Rendering API, Checkout UI Extensions).
• Create and maintain technical documentation, QA test plans, and dataLayer tracking for GTM integration.
• Collaborate in an Agile environment to deliver pixel-perfect, customer-first features across multiple storefronts.

Qualifications:

• 6+ years of front-end/UI development experience; strong background in eCommerce, especially Shopify Plus.
• Advanced skills in Figma, modern JS/TS, and writing scalable, accessible code.
• Proficient with version control systems (GitHub/Bitbucket) and Agile workflows.
• Familiar with cross-browser compatibility, performance optimization, and international site requirements.
• Bonus: Experience with Playwright, Shopify Pixel tracking, Checkout Extensibility, and CI/CD pipelines.
