About The Role:

We are seeking a passionate and strategic Product Marketing Manager, reporting to our Executive Director of Global Brand and Product Marketing, to execute the product marketing strategy for our cosmetics portfolio. This role sits at the intersection of product, brand, and commercial teams and is responsible for developing a robust product launch calendar and translating product innovation into compelling consumer stories that drive awareness, adoption, and sales.

The ideal candidate combines a deep understanding of beauty consumers with strong analytical skills, cross-functional leadership, and a proven ability to launch and grow products in a fast-paced, trend-driven industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct market, consumer, and competitive analysis to inform product strategy and innovation pipelines
• Lead product performance reporting, tracking KPIs such as sell-in, sell-through, velocity, distribution, margin, and launch performance
• Analyze performance by category, SKU, and channel, to identify growth drivers and underperformers
• Own product lifecycle management, including launch performance tracking, optimization, and post-launch analysis
• Develop clear, executive-ready dashboards and reports that translate data into actionable insights
• Partner with Sales and Finance to align on forecasts, performance gaps, and corrective actions
• Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for new product launches and core product lines
• Define product positioning, messaging, and value propositions that resonate with target consumers
• Partner closely with Product Development, Brand Marketing, Sales, and Creative teams to ensure alignment from concept through launch
• Create marketing briefs, launch toolkits, claims, naming, and storytelling
• Collaborate with digital, PR, social, and influencer teams to ensure consistent product narratives across all channels
• Monitor beauty trends, consumer insights, and emerging categories to identify growth opportunities

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in product marketing, preferably within cosmetics, beauty, skincare, or personal care
• Strong understanding of beauty consumers, trends, and retail environments (DTC, Sephora/Ulta, mass, or prestige)
• Proven experience leading successful product launches
• Excellent storytelling, positioning, and written communication skills
• Data-driven mindset with the ability to translate insights into action
• Experience working cross-functionally in a fast-moving environment
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field

Compensation & Benefits:

Salary Range: $110,00-$125,000, based on experience

Fully Remote or New York Office Hybrid
