Platform Development & Customization
- Design, develop, configure, and customize ServiceNow applications and modules.
- Build and maintain Service Catalogs, Record Producers, Workflows, Flow Designer automations, and UI Policies.
- Develop Business Rules, Client Scripts, Script Includes, ACLs, UI Actions, Notifications, and Scheduled Jobs.
- Configure ServiceNow forms, portals, dashboards, and reports.
- Develop reusable scoped applications and custom modules.
- Support platform upgrades, patching, and release management.
Integrations & Automation
- Develop REST/SOAP API integrations between ServiceNow and enterprise systems.
- Integrate ServiceNow with Azure AD, Okta, SCCM, LDAP, SAP, Salesforce, Workday, AWS, Jira, and monitoring tools.
- Build orchestration workflows and automation solutions using IntegrationHub and Flow Designer.
- Develop inbound/outbound integrations and MID Server configurations.
- Automate incident, request, change, asset, and problem management processes.
ITSM / ITOM / CMDB
- Configure and support ITSM modules including Incident, Problem, Change, Request, Knowledge, and Service Catalog.
- Implement CMDB, Discovery, Service Mapping, and ITOM capabilities.
- Support Asset Management and Software Asset Management processes.
- Maintain CMDB data quality, governance, and relationship mapping.
- Support event management and operational monitoring integrations.
Agile Delivery & Collaboration
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retrospectives.
- Collaborate with product owners, architects, business analysts, QA teams, and stakeholders.
- Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
- Create technical documentation, implementation guides, and support documentation.
- Support UAT, production deployments, and post-production support.
Security & Governance
- Ensure platform security, role-based access control, and compliance standards.
- Follow ServiceNow development best practices and governance standards.
- Support audit, compliance, and enterprise change management processes.
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years of ServiceNow development experience.
- Strong hands-on experience with ITSM modules.
- Expertise in JavaScript, Glide APIs, Business Rules, Client Scripts, Script Includes, and Flow Designer.
- Experience building REST and SOAP integrations.
- Experience with CMDB, Discovery, and Service Catalog.
- Strong understanding of ITIL processes.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum delivery methodologies.
- Experience with Service Portal or Employee Center.
- Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
Preferred Qualifications
- ServiceNow CSA (Certified System Administrator).
- CAD (Certified Application Developer).
- CIS certifications (ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, CSM).
- Experience with ServiceNow HRSD, CSM, ITOM, SecOps, or GRC.
- Experience with IntegrationHub and Automation Engine.
- Experience with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Knowledge of AngularJS within ServiceNow.
- Experience with ATF (Automated Test Framework).
