About The Role

We’re looking for a Senior Software Engineer to help build intuitive, high-impact applications that improve hospital operations and patient outcomes. This role will focus on full-stack development including (React + TypeScript + Python) and leverage AWS serverless technologies to deliver scalable, intelligent tools to hospitals across the country.

This is an opportunity for a product-minded engineer who enjoys solving complex real-world problems through elegant, data-driven interfaces and robust infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

Full Stack Development

Lead development of dynamic, responsive web applications using React and TypeScript.
Build and maintain backend services and APIs using Python, preferably Django.
Develop scalable cloud-native applications using AWS services like Lambda, Step Functions, and API Gateway.

Collaboration & Leadership

Work cross-functionally with Product, Design, and Data teams to develop thoughtful, user-centered features.
Mentor junior engineers, lead code reviews, and contribute to team-wide engineering practices.
Own features from concept to production, ensuring high performance, reliability, and maintainability.

Architecture & Strategy

Participate in architectural discussions to influence the technical direction of the platform.
Translate complex user needs into simple, high-impact engineering solutions.

What We’re Looking For

5+ years of full-stack development experience, with a frontend focus.
Deep expertise in React and TypeScript, including component architecture, state management, and testing.
Strong backend experience in Python, ideally using Django or similar frameworks.
Hands-on experience with AWS services like Lambda, Step Functions, S3, and API Gateway.
Solid grasp of REST APIs, CI/CD pipelines, and modern development practices.
Strong product sense and ability to work independently in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

It’s a Plus If You Have

Experience in healthcare or health tech.
Familiarity with Infrastructure-as-Code tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation).
Experience with data visualization or analytics-focused UIs.
Contributions to open source projects or technical communities.

Compensation for this role is based on market data and takes into account a variety of factors, including location, skills, qualifications, and prior relevant experience. Salary is just one part of the total rewards package at Qventus. $180,000—$220,000 USD
