We’re seeking a Lead Software Engineer to drive the design and development of scalable, high-performance web applications.

This is a hands-on full stack role — ideal for a seasoned engineer who enjoys coding daily while mentoring others and influencing architectural direction.

You’ll work across front-end and back-end technologies — PHP, JavaScript (React, Vue, jQuery), SQL/NoSQL — to deliver modern, responsive, data-driven websites that reach millions of users. If you’re passionate about clean code, modern frameworks, and measurable impact, we’d love to hear from you..

Key Responsibilities:

Lead development of new features and enhancements across multiple web properties.
Design, implement, and maintain full stack applications (front-end, APIs, databases).
Collaborate with Product, Design, and Data teams to deliver exceptional user experiences.
Review code, mentor engineers, and uphold high standards for performance, maintainability, and security.
Manage Git workflows (branching, PRs, CI/CD) and deployment processes.
Troubleshoot and optimize for speed, scalability, and cross-browser compatibility.
Contribute to technical planning, documentation, and architecture discussions.

Must-Have Technical Skills:

Hands-on expertise with:

Languages & Frameworks: PHP, JavaScript, CSS, jQuery, Vue.js, React
Databases: SQL and NoSQL systems
Version Control: Git and modern CI/CD workflows

You should have experience shipping production code in a Full Stack, Web Engineering, or Front-End Lead capacity.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

Experience or familiarity with any of the following:

CMS: WordPress
Frameworks: Angular
Data: BigQuery, MongoDB
Infrastructure: Docker, NGINX, Linux
Cloud: AWS or Google Cloud Platform (certifications a plus)
Tools: JIRA / Atlassian Suite
Languages: Python

Qualifications & Experience:

6+ years of professional software engineering experience (including full stack web development).
Deep knowledge of modern front-end and back-end technologies.
Strong problem-solving, debugging, and system design skills.
Excellent communicator who thrives in fast-paced, collaborative environments.
Passionate about performance, scalability, and writing clean, testable code.
Comfortable leading small teams and mentoring engineers.
