We are seeking a highly skilled and creative Senior Designer to join our team on a contract basis. This role is best suited for designers who thrive in high-performance, client-facing environments, bringing both creative instinct and strategic discipline.

This is not just production design — it is storytelling at the highest level, where clarity and polish shape decisions worth hundreds of millions of dollars.

QUALIFICATIONS

• This position is paid hourly as a 1099 contractor.
• Compensation for this role is based on experience and ranges from $40 to $50 per hour, with a potential for a higher scale based on more complex creative work. We will pay a premium for candidates with extensive experience in finance or private equity.
• This opportunity is a contract consultative position. Flexible work schedule and ability to work some nights and weekends may be needed.
• Candidates must be available during normal business hours, with flexibility for distributed timezones.

Quire offers above-market compensation to individuals who maintain the highest standards, possess consummate professional expertise, with all compensation marked-to-market using third-party salary and contractor platforms; those who exceed average experience or efficiency can expect a material premium to market rates.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• 5+ years of design experience with a strong portfolio of executive-level work.
• Expertise in PowerPoint, Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop), Figma, and other design tools.
• Experience creating high-end presentations, business reports, and marketing collateral.
• Strong visual storytelling skills with the ability to distill complex data into compelling graphics.
• Brand marketing experience and the ability to maintain visual consistency.
• Proactive and strategic thinker; able to offer design solutions, not just execute requests.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Ability to work with a sense of urgency, pivot, and multi-task as needed.
• Proficiency in AI platforms providing presentation and graphic design tools

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Knowledge of Generative AI platforms providing presentation and graphic design tools that improve both presentation creation efficiency and visual impact.
• Ability to design high-quality business presentations, reports, marketing assets, and other client resources that reflect Quire’s brand standards.
• Create and refine a variety of corporate-branded materials, including strategic analysis, Excel charts, financial tables, maps, diagrams, etc.
• Provide strategic input on layout, visual hierarchy, and overall presentation quality.
• Offer conceptual and visual solutions to enhance complex strategic presentations, including custom covers and templates, infographics, vector illustrations, logos, etc.
• Ensure brand consistency and visual storytelling across all materials.
• Contribute to best practices, including assuring all instructions/directions are met, deadlines are kept, information is shared, and quality controls are met.
• Adhere to tight project deadlines and swift turnarounds.
