We’re seeking a highly skilled Mid Level Graphic Designer with deep experience in presentation design, infographics, and visual storytelling. This role is ideal for someone with excellent instincts for design, exceptional technical execution, and the ability to work quickly and independently. You should bring a sharp creative perspective while maintaining polish, speed, and brand alignment — and be excited to incorporate AI tools to elevate productivity and output.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Transform raw content (hand-written slides, strategic outlines, rough decks) into client-ready presentations that are visually compelling and clearly structured.
- Design and elevate custom visual elements — including infographics, process diagrams, iconography, and conceptual visuals — from abstract or incomplete inputs.
- Translate complex information into visually digestible layouts with consistent hierarchy, structure, and brand alignment.
- Build and refine high-volume decks with advanced PowerPoint mastery, using automation, templates, and efficient workflows to speed delivery.
- Polish and elevate visuals such as charts, data tables, and graphics to meet executive-level expectations.
- Partner with consultants, strategists, and marketers to interpret visual needs and provide creative direction, not just execution.
- Prioritize and manage multiple, fast-turnaround projects while maintaining design quality and attention to detail.
- Utilize AI-powered design tools (e.g., Typeset, Envato, ChatGPT, etc) to streamline workflows and augment creativity.
WHO YOU ARE:
- A seasoned visual communicator with 3+ years of experience in presentation or marketing design, preferably in a consulting firm, creative studio agency, or high-pressure environment.
- Strong experience in Print & Digital Production and ability to create updates to various templated collateral quickly including social / digital content, presentations, one pagers, blogsite,
- An expert in PowerPoint & Adobe Creative Suite with strong working knowledge of Google Slides and Adobe Illustrator & Photoshop in relation to building presentations.
- Detail-obsessed — with a deep understanding of layout, typography, alignment, spacing, and visual hierarchy.
- Fast-moving and adaptive — able to move from draft to final quickly, balancing speed with quality.
- A natural collaborator who can both take initiative and follow direction, depending on the context.
- A proactive problem-solver who can spot gaps, suggest design solutions, and anticipate client needs.
- Enthusiastic about emerging tools and technologies — especially generative AI — and eager to test and apply them thoughtfully in your design process.
COMPENSATION & STRUCTURE:
- This position is paid hourly as a 1099 contractor.
- This position is fully remote
- Compensation for this role is based on experience and ranges from $25 - $38 per hour. which is the annual salary equivalent of $52,000 - $79,000 per year.
- This opportunity is a contract consultative position. Flexible work schedule and ability to work some nights and weekends may be needed.
- Candidates must be available during normal business hours, with flexibility for distributed timezones.
