Role Overview:
QuickLaunch is looking for a hands-on, data-driven Director of Marketing to drive demand generation, product marketing and campaign execution across our core higher education audience. This role is ideal for a performance-oriented marketer with experience in B2B SaaS, and a deep working knowledge of HubSpot, Integrations, IAM and the unique dynamics of higher ed IT decision-making.
This is a player / coach role focused on building pipeline and elevating brand awareness through integrated campaigns, digital channels and product-focused content.
Key Responsibilities:
Marketing Execution & Campaigns
- Plan and execute integrated campaigns to drive awareness, generate qualified leads, and support pipeline goals for our IAM and Integrations solutions.
- Manage HubSpot workflows, email marketing, lead scoring, and campaign performance tracking.
- Build and execute SEO/SEM strategies to increase inbound visibility and organic lead volume.
- Collaborate with external vendors, designers, and content creators to produce high-quality assets (landing pages, case studies, whitepapers, emails, etc.).
Product Marketing
- Translate technical product capabilities into clear, compelling messaging tailored to IT administrators, CIOs, and security stakeholders in higher education.
- Maintain a strong understanding of QuickLaunch’s product roadmap, integrations, and positioning within the IAM landscape.
- Develop product collateral, battlecards, competitive matrices, and sales enablement tools.
Demand Generation & Funnel Management
- Own top-of-funnel growth and lead nurturing strategies; continuously test and optimize tactics to improve conversion rates.
- Work closely with Sales to align campaign efforts with territory priorities and provide sales-ready leads.
- Implement targeted account-based marketing (ABM) campaigns to engage strategic institutions.
Event & Partner Marketing
- Support the planning and promotion of industry events, webinars, and conferences relevant to the higher education space.
- Collaborate with technology partners and resellers to co-market solutions and expand reach into shared accounts.
Analytics & Reporting
- Define and track KPIs across marketing channels (CAC, MQLs, SQLs, pipeline influence, etc.).
- Monitor HubSpot dashboards and campaign analytics to report on ROI and recommend optimizations.
- Provide monthly performance updates and insights to leadership.
Qualifications:
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field.
- 6–8 years of marketing experience, with at least 5 years in B2B SaaS, preferably in EdTech or cybersecurity / IAM.
- Experience marketing to higher education institutions (especially IT buyers).
- Expert in using HubSpot across the GTM lifecycle
Skills & Competencies
- Strong writing and content development skills with the ability to simplify complex technical concepts.
- Detail-oriented, highly organized, and comfortable managing multiple campaigns simultaneously.
- Familiarity with higher ed buying cycles, procurement processes, and persona-based targeting.
- Understanding of the identity and access management (IAM) market, including key terminology and competitors.
- Analytical mindset and self-starter mentality; thrives in fast-paced, resource-constrained environments.
