Marketing Manager (Remote – Cape Town)

Type: Full-time (Invoiced Monthly)

Location: Remote – Cape Town, South Africa

Rate: R40,000–R50,000 depending on experience

Start Date: 1st June onwards

About Us

Quarterly is a UK-based subscription design studio offering daily creative support to brands and agencies across the globe. From branding and social to reports and motion graphics, we support marketing teams with high-quality design on a flexible monthly plan. We’re growing quickly and are now looking for someone to take full ownership of our marketing function. We’re a team of 20, spread between the UK and South Africa.

The Role

We’re hiring a full-time Marketing Manager to work remotely in a strategic and hands-on role – ideal for someone who can plan, execute, and measure marketing activity. You’ll work closely with our founder and in-house design team, owning the marketing roadmap and managing day-to-day execution.

What you’ll be doing:

• Leading and implementing a clear marketing strategy
• Managing paid campaigns LinkedIn/Meta/Google
• Running and maintaining our content calendar, including LinkedIn support for the founder
• Launching and growing our daily email newsletter
• Briefing and collaborating with our in-house design team
• Writing and editing content as needed (email, social, landing pages)
• Tracking performance across channels and optimising based on data
• Ensuring consistent, on-brand messaging across all touchpoints

You’ll thrive in this role if you:

• Have 3+ years of B2B marketing experience, ideally in creative or service-based industries
• Are confident running paid campaigns, managing email marketing, and supporting organic content
• Write clearly and persuasively, with a good eye for design
• Understand performance metrics and use them to inform decisions
• Work well remotely and manage your own time and priorities
• Want to be trusted to lead, with the autonomy to shape strategy

Bonus if you:

• Have worked with creative teams or in an agency environment
• Have experience using tools like Campaign Manager, Email marketing software, and CRMs
• Have supported a founder-led business or startup

Contract & Compensation

This is a full-time role, but please note that as we do not have a registered business entity in South Africa, the position will be set up as a contractor agreement. You’ll be required to invoice us monthly for your time and will be responsible for your own taxes and statutory contributions, as is standard for freelance or contract roles.
