Job Description:

Data Scientist – Retail Industry

Experience- 4-6 years

Position Overview

We are seeking an 4+ years of experienced Data Scientist with hands-on experience in the retail industry. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in leveraging classic data science algorithms, advanced machine learning techniques to drive data-driven decision-making and innovation.

Technical Requirements

1. Proficiency in Data Science Algorithms: Deep expertise in classic algorithms like regression (linear, logistic) and time series forecasting for retail use cases such as demand forecasting and price elasticity.

2. Advanced ML Techniques: Experience in developing and deploying models for classification, clustering, ensemble modelling (e.g., Random Forest, XG Boost), and anomaly detection for fraud analysis.

3. Retail-Specific Use Cases: Familiarity with implementing solution for retail-specific problems, including customer segmentation, personalized marketing, including pricing strategies, customer behavior analysis, and inventory management.

4. Programming and Tools: Proficiency in Python, SQL, and relevant libraries/frameworks.
