About Quantum Arcadia
Quantum Arcadia LLP is an indie VR/AR game studio based in Vadodara, India. We are building Dreamscape — an open-world VR city-exploration experience for Meta Quest, featuring AI-powered NPCs and photorealistic recreations of global cities including Mumbai, Paris, Rome, New York, and Tokyo. We are targeting a December 2026 launch and are rapidly growing our creative team.
The Role
We are looking for a passionate UI/UX Designer to own the full user interface experience within Dreamscape. You will design everything the player sees and interacts with — from the main menu to in-game HUDs, settings panels, and onboarding flows — ensuring a seamless, immersive VR experience on Meta Quest.
What You Will Do
- • Design intuitive UI layouts for VR environments — menus, HUDs, interaction prompts, and onboarding screens
- • Create wireframes and interactive prototypes in Figma for review and iteration
- • Collaborate with Unity developers to implement UI using Unity UI Toolkit and World Space Canvas
- • Ensure all UI adheres to Meta Quest design guidelines and VR accessibility best practices
- • Work with the 2D Artist to produce visually cohesive UI assets and icon sets
- • Conduct usability reviews and iterate based on playtesting feedback
- • Maintain a consistent visual design language across all game screens
What We Are Looking For
- • Proficiency in Figma — wireframing, prototyping, and component systems
- • Understanding of UX principles for games or interactive applications
- • Basic familiarity with Unity is a strong plus
- • Portfolio showcasing UI/UX work (game UI, app UI, or interactive prototypes)
- • Strong attention to detail and ability to work within a fast-paced indie studio
- • Freshers and junior designers welcome — what matters is your portfolio and passion
Nice to Have
- • Experience with VR/AR UI design or Meta Quest platform
- • Knowledge of Unity UI Toolkit or uGUI
- • Background in game design or interactive media
What We Offer
- • Work on an ambitious, India-made VR title targeting global audiences
- • Creative freedom and direct collaboration with the Game Director and Creative Director
- • Friendly, small-team culture with high ownership and learning opportunities
