About Quantium Health

Quantium Health is a joint venture between Discovery Health and Quantium. We specialise in healthcare-focused data science, working across health insurance, hospitals, pharmaceuticals, MedTech and retail pharmacies. Our distinctive approach combines clinical understanding with advanced analytics, and we're proud to be Anthropic's global enterprise partner for generative AI implementation in healthcare.

Our work transforms the way healthcare organisations operate. We have conducted retrospective real-world studies to compare long-term health outcomes in hypertension, partnered with governments worldwide to optimise their COVID-19 vaccine rollouts, and developed the Vitality AI platform which enables hyperpersonalised, real-time recommendations powered by machine learning.

How will you make an impact?

• Analytics delivery: Own and deliver high-quality analytics, from scoping and data quality assessment through to insights generation and visualisation
• Technical execution: Transform client questions into analytical solutions using advanced data science techniques
• Client collaboration: Engage with internal and external stakeholders as part of a multi-disciplinary team to deliver optimal solutions
• Quality focus: Work with senior team members to ensure analytics quality and project delivery meets our high standards

The Superpowers You'll Be Bringing To The Team

• Technical proficiency: 2+ years' experience in a technical analytics environment, carrying out data analytics or data science work
• Academic background: Qualifications in engineering, mathematics, actuarial science, statistics, physics or a related discipline
• Strong coding skills: Coding and modelling experience in SQL / Python
• Problem solver: Your ability to make the complex simple means you can identify patterns across domains and frame business challenges into analytical solutions
• Healthcare interest: Experience with health datasets such as medical schemes data and/or healthcare experience in pharma, MedTech or hospitals is desirable but not essential
