We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Software Developer to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in designing, developing, and deploying robust, scalable, and distributed applications and web services that power our mission-critical, AI-driven solutions. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in Python (FastAPI) for backend development, ReactJS for intuitive user interfaces, and a strong understanding of PostgreSQL for data management. You will be instrumental in building high-performance systems, contributing to machine learning and data analytics initiatives, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver enterprise-grade software solutions primarily hosted on GCP (with exposure to AWS).

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and development of highly scalable, distributed backend services using Python with FastAPI, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
• Develop responsive and engaging user interfaces using ReactJS, translating complex requirements into intuitive and efficient front-end experiences.
• Design, implement, and optimize database schemas and queries for PostgreSQL, ensuring data integrity, performance, and scalability.
• Implement robust unit and integration tests for both backend and frontend components using Pytest (for Python) and Vitest (for ReactJS), emphasizing test-driven development (TDD) principles.
• Actively participate in architectural discussions, evaluating trade-offs for synchronous and asynchronous design patterns, and contributing to technical design decisions for cloud-native applications.
• Deploy, monitor, and troubleshoot applications within GCP environments (e.g., Cloud Run, GKE, App Engine, Cloud SQL, Secret Manager), with an understanding of multi-cloud principles including AWS.
• Contribute to the entire Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), from requirements gathering and design to deployment, maintenance, and performance optimization, including load testing strategies.
• Collaborate closely with data scientists and machine learning engineers to integrate AI/ML models and data analytics capabilities into our applications.
• Mentor junior developers, conduct thorough code reviews, and contribute to fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous improvement.
• Work effectively within agile methodologies, utilizing CI/CD pipelines and version control systems (e.g., Git) to ensure efficient and high-quality software delivery.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in full-stack or backend software development, with a strong focus on building distributed, scalable systems.
• Expert proficiency in Python, with extensive experience developing high-performance APIs using FastAPI.
• Strong experience with ReactJS for building modern, component-based user interfaces.
• Deep expertise in PostgreSQL, including database design, optimization, and advanced querying.
• Proven experience with unit testing frameworks such as Pytest and Vitest.
• Solid understanding and practical experience with cloud platforms, specifically GCP, including services like Cloud Run, GKE, Cloud SQL, and Secret Manager. Familiarity with AWS is a significant plus.
• Demonstrated experience with SDLC principles, including agile methodologies, CI/CD pipelines, and version control (Git).
• Experience with load testing tools and strategies to ensure application resilience and performance under stress.
• Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and event-driven design patterns.
• Experience integrating machine learning, artificial intelligence, or data analytics components into production applications.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to technical challenges.
• Exceptional communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to work effectively in cross-functional and global teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
