Responsabilities

• In this versatile role, you will strengthen our international team and maintain/optimize our database applications and migrate current functions from T-SQL to Java;
• You will accompany the renovation of existing systems in close cooperation with our team and business partners;
• Maintenance of our German company database;
• Migrating parts of our database functions from T-SQL to Java;
• Performance monitoring and ensuring the availability of agreed database functionalities;
• Expansion of the database according to new requirements;

Requirements

• Completed university degree in computer science or comparable degree;
• Several years of professional experience in dealing with MS SQL Server/T-SQL;
• Good communication skills in English;
• Experience in the field of PostgreSQL and noSQL databases (MongoDB, ElasticSearch);
• Knowledge of Java development (Spring-Boot);
• Knowledge of MySQL;
• Knowledge of Github, Bamboo/Harness, Kubernetes;
