What You’ll Do

• Architect & Build: Design and implement scalable, maintainable backend services and RESTful APIs that power our SaaS platform.
• Ensure Reliability: Optimize for performance, security, and reliability with rigorous testing and monitoring.
• Collaborate Cross‑Functionally: Partner with Product, Frontend, and DevOps teams to deliver end‑to‑end solutions.
• Drive Best Practices: Mentor junior engineers, champion clean code, and improve our CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation.
• Innovate & Learn: Propose and lead improvements in our architecture, tooling, and DevOps practices.

The Ideal Candidate Has

• 8+ Years’ Experience: Solid backend engineering track record in one or more general‑purpose languages (e.g., Java, Python, C#, JavaScript, Go, Ruby).
• Strong Fundamentals: Deep understanding of OOP, RESTful API design, algorithms, data structures, and system architecture.
• Cloud & DevOps Awareness: Comfortable with Git, Docker, and at least one major cloud platform (AWS/GCP/Azure).
• Growth Mindset: Excited to pick up Ruby on Rails and our relational database stack (PostgreSQL), and to explore message brokers or caching systems over time.
• Collaborative Spirit: Excellent communicator who thrives in Agile teams and enjoys mentoring others.
