Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership: Define and execute the global marketing vision for QIAGEN Digital Insights, aligning closely with product, sales, and executive leadership.
  • Messaging & Positioning: Lead the development of compelling, differentiated messaging and value propositions for QDI’s portfolio across diverse customer segments (biotech, pharma, clinical labs, academia).
  • Go-To-Market Execution: Own all facets of GTM strategy including new product launches, integrated campaigns, and lifecycle marketing for flagship software, AI/ML-based analytics, and curated knowledgebases.
  • Digital & Performance Marketing: Drive world-class digital strategy across SEM, SEO, website optimization, social media, email marketing, content syndication, and marketing automation.
  • Lead Generation & Nurture: Optimize inbound and outbound marketing funnels to accelerate customer acquisition and grow a qualified pipeline for global sales teams.
  • Web & Trial Optimization: Lead initiatives to enhance QDI’s web presence and self-service product trial experience, driving conversion and retention.
  • Team Leadership: Inspire, mentor, and grow a high-performing team of marketers across brand, content, digital, product, and regional marketing functions.
  • Analytics & KPIs: Establish a data-driven culture of continuous improvement; define and monitor marketing performance metrics to maximize ROI and operational efficiency.

Position Requirements

  • Experience: 10+ years of progressive experience in B2B marketing, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role; biotech, life sciences, or software experience strongly preferred.
  • Track Record: Demonstrated success building and scaling global marketing programs with measurable impact on revenue and market presence.
  • Digital Expertise: Deep knowledge of SEO, SEM, ABM, paid and organic social media, CRM and marketing automation (e.g., Salesforce, Eloqua, Wordpress).
  • Scientific Acumen: Familiarity with bioinformatics, genomics, multi-omics, or life science software markets; comfort translating complex scientific value into clear business impact.
  • Leadership & Collaboration: Exceptional ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence senior stakeholders in a matrixed, global organization.
  • Communication: Excellent storytelling, presentation, and executive communication skills.
