Role Description The Multifamily Marketing Director is a full-time, hybrid role based in the Greater Houston area, with a mix of on-site property visits and work-from-home flexibility. This role oversees marketing strategy and execution for the multifamily portfolio, including branding, advertising campaigns, digital presence, and resident engagement initiatives. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing property marketing plans, coordinating with on-site teams to ensure consistent messaging, analyzing occupancy and market data, and optimizing marketing spend. The Multifamily Marketing Director will manage online listings, social media, and reputation management, collaborate with leadership on leasing goals, and maintain relationships with vendors and media partners. The role also involves monitoring competitive properties, identifying new marketing opportunities, and preparing regular performance reports and recommendations.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in multifamily or residential real estate marketing, including developing and executing property marketing strategies.
• Strong skills in digital marketing channels (e.g., social media, email campaigns, property listing platforms) and basic marketing analytics.
• Proficiency with marketing and design tools (e.g., CRM or marketing automation platforms, Canva or similar design software, and MS Office Suite).
• Ability to interpret market trends, occupancy reports, and performance metrics to guide marketing decisions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create clear, compelling marketing copy and presentations.
• Proven project management and organizational skills, including the ability to manage multiple campaigns and deadlines.
• Collaborative mindset with experience working cross-functionally with property management, leasing teams, and external vendors.
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
• Comfort working in a hybrid environment in the Greater Houston area, including regular visits to properties as needed.
• Knowledge of fair housing regulations and ethical marketing practices within the multifamily housing industry is highly beneficial.
