Job Summary

Pyyne is seeking a Mid-level Software Engineer with experience working with .NET C# to work as a Consultant for a large US-based Insurance client out of our Brazilian Office.

A successful candidate in this role will be a capable individual contributor, able to

plan and build software systems and maintain the existing codebase. The Pyyne team will interact regularly and directly with technical and non-technical stakeholders in the client organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain web applications using .NET Framework/.NET Core and C#
• Build responsive user interfaces using MVC architecture and React components
• Develop and optimize SQL Server databases, stored procedures, and queries
• Implement Entity Framework for data access layer and ORM functionality
• Apply dependency injection principles and design patterns for scalable application architecture
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions
• Participate in code reviews and maintain coding standards across the team
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues in insurance applications and systems

Must Have Skills:

• 2+ years of professional software development experience in an Agile work environment
• Proficiency in .NET Framework/.NET Core and C# programming
• Experience with ASP.NET MVC for web application development
• Experience with React.js and modern JavaScript ES6+
• Proficient in SQL Server, including query optimization and database design
• Knowledge of dependency injection patterns and IoC containers
• Experience with RESTful API development and integration
• Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and responsive web design principles

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience in insurance domain or financial services industry in a consulting capacity
• Experience with Entity Framework
• Knowledge of Azure cloud services and deployment strategies
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
• Experience with automated testing frameworks (NUnit, xUnit, Jest)
