The right candidate will play a pivotal role in managing client relationships, overseeing recruitment of study participants based on niche client requirements, growing our panelist community overarchingly, quantifying results, living the “test and learn” mentality, and recommending automation as applicable. There may also be a chance for this individual to manage a team with time. We’re looking for a motivated self-starter who identifies needs and finds solutions.
You will work cross-functionally to understand study requirements and target audiences, and then use your expertise to drive successful recruitment outcomes.
This role is 100% remote.
About you
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute best-in-class panelist acquisition strategies across owned and paid channels to recruit new usability research participants (panelists). Recruitment will include both growing our panelist database overarchingly, plus acquiring participants based on niche study specifications outlined by our clients.
- Track and analyze performance and spend (with strict adherence to budget) by channel for each study, and adjust strategies as needed to meet recruitment goals.
- Leverage a/b testing to “test and learn.” Optimize campaigns while in-flight. Use learnings to inform future approaches.
- Develop long-term panel growth and maintenance strategies.
- Qualify respondents into study participants leveraging a variety of methods to ensure client study requirements are met.
- Ensure participants are onboarded appropriately by providing thorough instructions.
- Drive communications with our panelist community both generally and during specific research studies, including email updates, help content, and social media communications.
- Work closely with the product and engineering teams to continuously improve the panelist recruiting, onboarding flows, and overall experiences.
- Manage client relationships in relation to panelist recruitment expectations for the studies you're working across.
- Identify opportunities for automation to help streamline existing processes.
- Process and track participant incentives by type for each study.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills.
- Experience working within a marketing automation platform (e.g. Hubspot, Pardot, Marketing Cloud, etc.).
- Proficiency managing social media campaigns, email marketing, and other digital channels.
- Experience advertising across organic and paid channels.
- 3-5 years of recruitment, marketing, or social media marketing experience.
- Strong communication (written and verbal) and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience with Google Suite or Microsoft Office Suite.
Preferred Qualifications
- A demonstrated ability to self-motivate and follow through on projects.
- Comfortability working in a frequently changing, often ambiguous environment.
- Client management experience.
- Team leadership experience.
- Experience recruiting people to participate in events or research studies.
- Experience with Canva, Figma, and / or other graphic design tools.
- Experience using analytics tools to track the effectiveness of marketing campaigns.
- History of supporting user experience research, market research, and / or working with technical teams.
