Product UX Designer

VoiceScript is building AI-powered transcription and workflow tools for legal, court reporting, and professional services teams. Our product combines audio/video upload, real-time transcription, speaker diarization, transcript editing, quality review, and AI-assisted formatting into a professional-grade web application.

We are looking for a full-time UI / UX Designer in Jakarta who can help us turn complex workflows into clear, elegant, high-quality product experiences. You should be comfortable owning the design process from user flows and wireframes through to high-fidelity Figma designs ready for engineering handoff.

What You’ll Do

You will work closely with product, engineering, and operations to design features for VoiceScript’s web applications, including transcript editing, audio playback, review workflows, dashboards, job management, and admin tools.

Who You Are

You are detail-oriented, practical, and product-minded. You care about making software feel simple, fast, and reliable. You can think through edge cases, empty states, loading states, error states, and the small details that make a product feel polished.

You do not need to be a researcher-only UX designer. This role is best suited for someone who enjoys hands-on product design and high-fidelity UI work.

Location and working style

This is a full-time role based in Jakarta. We prefer someone who can work hybrid or on-site with the team, especially during onboarding and product planning sessions.

We are especially interested in seeing examples of Figma work that show clear user flows, polished interface design, and thoughtful handling of real product complexity.

Minimum Qualifications

• Strong experience designing web applications, SaaS products, dashboards, or complex internal tools.
• Excellent Figma skills, including components, variants, auto layout, prototyping, and design handoff.
• A strong eye for layout, spacing, typography, hierarchy, and interaction design.
• Ability to design both the overall user journey and the detailed UI states needed for implementation.
• Experience working with product managers and software engineers.
• Comfort designing for complex workflows, not just simple landing pages or marketing sites.
• A portfolio showing high-quality UI / UX work for real products.
• Good written and spoken English.

Nice to have

• Experience designing productivity tools, editing interfaces, legal tech, media tools, or workflow software.
• Experience with React-based products or working closely with frontend engineers.
• Understanding of responsive web design and accessibility basics.
• Experience creating or maintaining a design system.
• Interest in AI products, transcription, audio/video workflows, or professional services software.
