For what tasks:
- Designing Gameplay of incoming projects;
- Live Ops & Event Planning: Plan and execute live events, limited-time modes, and in-game campaigns.
- Collaborate with analytics to measure and improve event effectiveness and player engagement;
- Game Analytics & KPI Ownership:Define and track key game metrics: Retention (D1/D7/D30), LTV, ARPU, ARPDAU, Conversion Rate, Session Length, etc.
- Collaborate with data analysts to set hypotheses, define goals for new features, and run A/B tests.
- Analyze player behavior data to identify friction points and optimization opportunities.
- Design Documentation & Communication:
- Maintain up-to-date and detailed game design documents (GDDs), feature specs, economy sheets, UX flows, and wireframes.
- Create clear, actionable requests for development, UI/UX, and QA teams.
- Cross-functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with PO, developers, artists, UX designers, game economy designer, marketing, and UA teams.
- Participate in sprint planning, design reviews, and syncs with other departments.
Requirements:
• 3–5+ years of experience in game design;
• Proven track record working on mobile F2P games, from concept to release and live operations;
• Experience with Live Ops: planning, launching, and optimizing events and time-limited content.
• Deep understanding of game mechanics, progression systems, meta-game design, and game economy;
• Hands-on experience designing and balancing monetization and retention features;
• Ability to write clear, structured game design documentation (GDDs, feature specs, flowcharts);
• Solid knowledge of key game KPIs: Retention (D1/D7/D30), ARPU, ARPDAU, LTV, Conversion Rate, Session Length, etc.;
• Experience working with analytics: hypothesis building, A/B testing, data interpretation;
• Systemic thinking with a holistic understanding of product pillars: gameplay, metrics, UX, content, and player psychology;
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to clearly articulate ideas and provide feedback;
