Senior Agentic Software Engineer arrivia Remote (US) · Full-time
Architect the systems and set the technical direction behind arrivia's travel platform, and drive engineering standards across teams with wide latitude on how you get there. You'll shape how the whole org adopts agentic development practices, using tools like Claude Code, Cursor, and GitHub Copilot as the baseline, not the exception.
arrivia specializes in making brands better through the power of travel. The company is a merger of three powerhouse brands, ICE, SOR Technology, and WMPH Vacations, with offices on both coasts of the US and around the world, building a customer-first culture around the best travel experiences for members at every point in their journey. Core values: Stay Curious, Keep it Real, Own it, Win Together.
Operating with limited oversight and broad organizational scope, you'll drive the adoption and standardization of agentic coding tools across engineering teams, establishing best practices, prompt libraries, and workflows that amplify developer productivity organization-wide. You'll architect Model Context Protocol integrations that connect AI agents to internal tools and platform services, defining the strategic blueprint for agent capabilities across the development lifecycle, and you'll mentor engineers across teams on effective use of AI-assisted development.
This is a remote role, currently open to candidates based in Arizona, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Louisiana, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Missouri, Montana, Nevada, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Oklahoma, Oregon, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Vermont, Virginia, Washington, Wisconsin, and Wyoming.
You fit if you bring 8 or more years of full-stack development and architectural experience, with expert proficiency using AI coding agents in professional workflows. You have strong proficiency in two or more of TypeScript/JavaScript, Python, or C#/.NET, deep experience with a modern frontend framework, and a proven ability to architect and deliver cloud-native solutions on AWS, Azure, or GCP. What separates a strong applicant here is a deep understanding of the Model Context Protocol and real experience architecting MCP server ecosystems for secure, structured AI agent access, not just using agents but designing how a whole organization uses them well.
How hiring works here
Referrals are king for getting an interview. But what if you don't have a referral? Applying with Provn is designed to help you get more interviews. Instead of sending a cold resume into an ATS and waiting, you will complete a challenge built by arrivia and submit a short video walking through your approach. No time limit. No timers. No restrictions on AI usage. Show how you build with AI.
Why that works in your favor:
The hiring manager reviews every completed submission, and strongest candidates go straight to an interview round. No referral needed. Performance over pedigree. Proof over polish.
The estimated salary range for this role is $146,000-$302,000 annually, based on Provn's market benchmarking. Benefits include access to arrivia's private travel marketplace with deeply discounted rates on cruises, resorts, and hotels, robust medical, dental, and vision coverage, and 401(k) with company matching, inside a remote-friendly culture that works across US and international time zones.
Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the US without sponsorship now or in the future.
Applications open through August 31.
