The Role

We’re searching for a UX/UI Designer, a creative alchemist to shape Protein World’s digital presence with elegance and empathy. Working remotely from Indonesia, you’ll design intuitive, visually stunning interfaces for our Shopify website and mobile platforms, resonating with our global wellness community. Collaborating closely with our UK team, your designs will inspire connection, drive engagement, and embody our mission to uplift lives through seamless, authentic digital journeys.

Key Responsibilities

• User-Centric Design: Craft intuitive UX flows and wireframes using Figma, ensuring seamless navigation and user delight on our Shopify website and mobile platforms.

• Visual Brilliance: Create high-fidelity UI designs that harmonize Protein World’s bold, wellness-focused aesthetic with modern design principles, maintaining brand consistency.

• Empathetic Research: Conduct user research (e.g., surveys, usability testing) to understand our community’s needs, translating insights into aspirational designs.

• Prototyping Mastery: Build interactive prototypes to test and refine user experiences, iterating based on feedback to elevate functionality and engagement.

• Collaborative Synergy: Partner with UK-based developers, marketers, and creative teams via tools like Slack and Zoom, aligning designs with technical feasibility and brand goals during overlapping hours (e.g., 3 PM–7 PM WIB / 8 AM–12 PM UK time).

• Insightful Optimization: Leverage basic analytics (e.g., heatmaps, Google Analytics) to refine designs, ensuring a vibrant, impactful user experience.

Who You Are

• Experience: 2–4 years in UX/UI design, with a proven track record designing for e-commerce or consumer-facing platforms (portfolio required).
• Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Marketing, or a related field is preferred; a marketing degree is a strong advantage.
• Skills:
• Expertise in Figma, Adobe XD, or similar tools for wireframing, prototyping, and UI design.
• Proficiency in user research methods and usability testing.
• Familiarity with Shopify’s design ecosystem and responsive design principles.
• Basic understanding of HTML/CSS or front-end development is a plus.
• Language: Strong English communication skills (written and verbal) to collaborate effectively with the UK team.
• Creative Passion: An innate ability to design innovative, elegant interfaces infused with wellness-inspired authenticity, balancing bold vision with meticulous execution.
• Qualities: Exceptional emotional intelligence, integrity, and a proactive, radiant spirit. You’re organized, adaptable, and thrive in a dynamic remote environment.
• Remote Readiness: Comfortable working remotely with reliable internet, a suitable workspace, and the ability to align with UK hours (e.g., afternoon/evening WIB).
