Job Title: UI/UX Designer – Intranet & SaaS Experience

About the Role:
We’re seeking a talented and detail-oriented UI/UX Designer with a strong background in intranet design and SaaS platforms. The ideal candidate is experienced in designing intuitive, scalable digital employee experiences and has hands-on knowledge of intranet solutions such as Interact, Simpplr, or Staffbase.
You’ll collaborate cross-functionally with Product Managers, Developers, and Stakeholders to deliver user-centered designs that enhance engagement, usability, and overall user satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI for web-based intranet and SaaS applications.
- Partner with internal teams to design engaging digital employee experiences using tools like Simpplr, Interact, or Staffbase.
- Conduct user research, usability testing, and analyze user behavior to inform design decisions.
- Translate complex business requirements into elegant, intuitive user flows and interfaces.
- Optimize existing user experiences for scalability, responsiveness, and accessibility.
- Contribute to and help maintain design systems, ensuring consistency across products.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure accurate implementation of designs.
- Stay current with UX trends, SaaS design patterns, and internal communication best practices.
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of professional experience in UI/UX design for SaaS platforms or enterprise software.
- Proven experience designing internal communications platforms or intranets, ideally using Interact, Simpplr, or Staffbase.
- Proficiency in design tools like Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar.
- Strong understanding of responsive design, accessibility (WCAG), and UX best practices.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Portfolio showcasing user-centric design projects across web or enterprise platforms.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with employee experience platforms or internal communications strategy.
- Familiarity with front-end frameworks (HTML/CSS, React, etc.) a plus.
- Background in behavioral research or UX writing is a bonus.
