User Experience Designer

Job Title: UI/UX Designer – Intranet & SaaS Experience

Location: 100% Remote

Term: Contract (W2)

About the Role:

We’re seeking a talented and detail-oriented UI/UX Designer with a strong background in intranet design and SaaS platforms. The ideal candidate is experienced in designing intuitive, scalable digital employee experiences and has hands-on knowledge of intranet solutions such as Interact, Simpplr, or Staffbase.

You’ll collaborate cross-functionally with Product Managers, Developers, and Stakeholders to deliver user-centered designs that enhance engagement, usability, and overall user satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI for web-based intranet and SaaS applications.
• Partner with internal teams to design engaging digital employee experiences using tools like Simpplr, Interact, or Staffbase.
• Conduct user research, usability testing, and analyze user behavior to inform design decisions.
• Translate complex business requirements into elegant, intuitive user flows and interfaces.
• Optimize existing user experiences for scalability, responsiveness, and accessibility.
• Contribute to and help maintain design systems, ensuring consistency across products.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure accurate implementation of designs.
• Stay current with UX trends, SaaS design patterns, and internal communication best practices.

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years of professional experience in UI/UX design for SaaS platforms or enterprise software.
• Proven experience designing internal communications platforms or intranets, ideally using Interact, Simpplr, or Staffbase.
• Proficiency in design tools like Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar.
• Strong understanding of responsive design, accessibility (WCAG), and UX best practices.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Portfolio showcasing user-centric design projects across web or enterprise platforms.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with employee experience platforms or internal communications strategy.
• Familiarity with front-end frameworks (HTML/CSS, React, etc.) a plus.
• Background in behavioral research or UX writing is a bonus.
