Role Overview
We are seeking a Product Marketing Manager to drive go-to-market strategies, messaging, and positioning for our data protection solutions in the U.S. Federal defense sector. This role requires an understanding of cybersecurity, encryption technologies, US Defense industry and government procurement processes. The ideal candidate will collaborate with product management, sales, and engineering teams to create, document, and communicate compelling messaging that resonates with defense and government decision-makers.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for our encryption and authentication solutions targeting the U.S. Federal defense market.
- Craft compelling messaging, value propositions, and positioning tailored to defense and government agencies.
- Work closely with product management to translate technical capabilities into customer-centric benefits.
- Create and manage sales enablement materials, including whitepapers, presentations, case studies, and competitive battle cards.
- Support demand generation efforts by collaborating with marketing agency on content strategy, webinars, and thought leadership.
- Develop targeted messaging for key decision-makers, including DoD, FSIs, and defense contractors.
- Work with partners to develop joint messages and create materials to support sales and joint GTM efforts.
- Serve as a subject matter expert in customer meetings, industry events, and marketing campaigns.
- Align with sales teams to ensure consistent messaging and enablement for Federal procurement cycles.
Qualifications & Skills
- 5+ years of product marketing experience in cybersecurity, data protection, or related technology fields.
- Understanding of Federal cybersecurity requirements, including CSfC for DAR, CMMC, NIST, and DoD procurement processes.
- Experience marketing to U.S. defense agencies, intelligence communities, or defense contractors.
- Strong ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, compelling messaging.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including experience creating marketing and sales collateral.
- Proven track record of supporting sales teams with targeted messaging and enablement materials.
- Familiarity with encryption, authentication, and endpoint security technologies is a plus.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- U.S. citizenship required; security clearance (or ability to obtain) is a plus.
