A fast-growing eCommerce group scaling multiple DTC brands is looking for a Marketing Operations Manager to bring structure, clarity, and speed to their marketing team. This role is about building the systems that keep creativity and growth on track - ensuring campaigns launch smoothly, data flows accurately, and performance can be measured and optimised in real-time. You’ll also own and improve internal processes and cross-functional projects, ensuring the team stays aligned, efficient, and able to scale without bottlenecks.
You’ll be the bridge between strategy and execution: aligning tools, teams, and workflows so marketing efforts run like clockwork. If you thrive on problem‑solving, process‑building, and turning complexity into order, you’ll feel right at home.
WHO THEY ARE
This company runs multiple high‑growth consumer brands where operational excellence is the difference between momentum and chaos. They value lean structures, fast action, and clear results and they expect every team member to make an immediate impact.
Here, you won’t be buried in layers of process or hierarchy. You’ll work directly with the CMO, help shape how the marketing function operates, and see the impact of your work directly in brand performance.
What sets them apart:
- A culture that rewards initiative and speed
- Ambitious growth targets with room to experiment
- Small, agile teams - minimal overhead, maximum impact
- Direct access to leadership and cross‑functional collaboration
This is a full‑time, remote contractor role.
WHAT’S IN IT FOR YOU
- Build and own the marketing operations framework for a scaling DTC business
- Collaborate with creative, data, and leadership teams on high‑impact projects
- Autonomy to design systems, workflows, and reporting that actually get used
- Potential to grow into a broader operations leadership role
- Performance‑based bonus tied to profitability and operational effectiveness
WHAT YOU’RE GETTING YOURSELF INTO
You’ll be the backbone of the marketing engine, building systems that connect creativity with execution and keep growth on track. This means owning the processes, tools, and reporting frameworks that allow campaigns to run smoothly, data to flow accurately, and performance to be visible in real time.
Expect to:
- Ideate, implement, and review new projects or processes, ensuring adoption across the team
- Implement and maintain the martech stack (automation, CRM, analytics, ad platforms), integrating with Shopify, TripleWhale, and ClickUp
- Establish naming conventions and tagging logic that link campaigns to Shopify orders and performance dashboards, enabling product-line P&Ls and clear reporting
- Build dashboards inside tools like TripleWhale, Meta Ads, or Google Sheets to give leadership a live view of performance
- Manage ClickUp workflows, and introduce and implement sprint frameworks to keep projects accountable and moving
- Create frameworks for creative performance reporting, aggregating data so the creative team focuses on output while you handle structure
- Design and oversee A/B testing frameworks, funnel optimization, and budget tracking
- Troubleshoot integration, reporting, or workflow issues before they become blockers
- Document standardized operating procedures so marketing execution is consistent and scalable
- Pull in outside experts or freelancers when needed (e.g., for technical blockers) while keeping ownership of the process
- Transform big strategic moves into clear projects that the team can execute against
