This high-performance digital growth agency is looking for a Director of Growth Marketing who can drive strategy, lead a team, and deliver results across paid media, CRO, creative strategy, and retention.
This is not a passive leadership role. You’ll be the architect of the performance systems, the coach guiding Growth Managers and the strategic partner to the founder. YOUR MISSION
To drive measurable growth for every DTC eCommerce brand in the portfolio by owning the strategy, systems, and team behind paid media and performance marketing. You’ll build scalable systems, instill operational excellence, and empower a high-performing team to deliver industry-leading results. From high-stakes campaigns to executive performance reviews, you'll be the force behind the agency’s growth outcomes.

WHAT YOU’LL DO
Strategy & Leadership
- Own the agency-wide growth strategy across five pillars: media buying, creative, CRO, analytics, and offers
- Translate client business goals into data-backed, scalable campaign strategies
- Build frameworks for test-and-learn environments, sprint planning, and experimentation
- Lead learning around new platform shifts, trends, and industry innovations
Performance Management
- Oversee and optimize a $10MM+ client spend portfolio across Meta, Google, TikTok, and more
- Monitor and act on core KPIs (CAC, ROAS, MER, AOV, LTV) across all client accounts
- Step in and own top-tier client accounts when needed to ensure KPIs are exceeded
- Conduct performance reviews, quarterly business reviews (QBRs), and post-mortems
Infrastructure & Systems
- Build forecasting models, pacing frameworks, and account health scorecards
- Standardize campaign planning systems across clients and strategists
- Collaborate with the COO to identify training gaps and scale internal capabilities
Team & Client Alignment
- Act as the strategic bridge between the Growth Team and the Agency Owner
- Ensure every tactic ladders up to quarterly revenue and margin goals
- Champion cross-functional collaboration with creative, analytics, and client services

- Experience: You’ve spent 6 -10 years in performance marketing, ideally inside fast-scaling DTC brands or agencies
- Proven scale: You’ve successfully managed $1MM+/mo in ad spend and turned it into profitable growth
- Full-stack marketer: You bring deep, hands-on expertise across Meta, Google, TikTok, CRO, retention, and creative strategy
- Data-led thinker: You instinctively look to the numbers to guide decisions, and act fast on what they reveal
- Calm under pressure: You communicate clearly, lead with composure, and thrive in high-stakes environments
- Team builder: You’ve led, coached, and grown high-performing growth teams, and know how to get the best out of people

YOUR FIRST 90 DAYS
Daily:
- Monitor Slack, Notion, and dashboards for red flags
- Support Strategists on execution, strategy, and troubleshooting
- Review creative tests and sprint velocity
- Handle urgent client escalations or take ownership of key accounts
Weekly:
- 1:1s with Strategists to review pacing, testing, and KPIs
- Host Growth Team Weekly Sync
- QA sprint plans and client-facing strategy decks
- Deliver performance summaries to the Agency Owner
Monthly:
- Performance reviews with Strategists
- Update templates, QA checklists, and sprint planning docs
- Forecast ad spend and flag scale opportunities
- Partner with the COO on training and capability-building
