Senior Software Engineer

Lead the architecture, development, and delivery of enterprise healthcare platforms, with a focus on medical imaging, interoperability, and cloud-native systems. This is a senior individual contributor role with significant technical leadership, working closely with clinical, product, and engineering teams to build scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect and develop PHP/Laravel-based backend systems, APIs, and microservices
• Own and optimize AWS infrastructure across compute, storage, and networking services
• Lead CI/CD, containerization, and deployment workflows to ensure reliable releases
• Translate complex clinical and interoperability requirements into scalable system designs
• Mentor engineers, conduct code reviews, and define engineering best practices
• Contribute to architecture decisions, roadmap planning, and technology selection
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, focusing on security, data integrity, and access controls

Requirements

• 10+ years software engineering experience with strong PHP/Laravel expertise
• Proven experience building APIs, service-oriented architectures, and SaaS platforms
• Hands-on experience with AWS, Docker, and modern CI/CD tooling
• Knowledge of healthcare interoperability standards (DICOM, HL7, FHIR)
• Strong database design and performance optimization skills
• Solid understanding of secure software development practices

Preferred

• Experience with PACS, RIS, or medical imaging platforms
• Exposure to healthcare workflows and regulated environments
• Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools and open-source imaging technologies
