Lead React Native Developer

We’re seeking a skilled React Native App Developer to help build and maintain Progressive Turf Navigator mobile applications for iOS and Android. This is a full-time, remote role where you’ll work closely with our design, and backend team to deliver intuitive, high-performing mobile experiences for real-world users.

You’ll play a meaningful role in steering our mobile roadmap, improving existing features, and launching new functionality that directly supports new feature and capabilities in the field.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain cross-platform mobile applications using React Native
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to implement new features
• Build clean, reusable, and scalable components
• Integrate RESTful APIs and third-party services
• Optimize application performance, stability, and usability
• Debug issues and provide ongoing maintenance and improvements
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering best practices
• Help ensure mobile apps meet quality, security, and accessibility standards

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional experience building mobile apps with React Native
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript
• Experience with state management solutions (Redux, Context API, etc.)
• Familiarity with REST APIs and mobile app architecture
• Experience deploying apps to the Apple App Store and Google Play Store
• Strong understanding of mobile UI/UX best practices
• Experience with testing methodologies and CI/CD process
• Comfortable working remotely and collaborating with a distributed team
• Experience using Git in a team-based development environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with native mobile development (Swift, Kotlin, Objective-C, or Java)
• Familiarity with Expo
• Experience working on SaaS platforms or data-driven applications
• Experience in Agile or Scrum environments
