Senior Java Software Engineer

TITLE: Sr Java Developer - Spring Boot, Hibernate, Microservices, AWS

LOCATION: Remote in US

PAY: Targeting $75-85/hr give or take, and is dependent on relevant experience and expertise

ENGAGEMENT TYPE: ongoing contract with benefits

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

• Playing a key role in our client's provisioning systems team.
• This role interacts with offshore team members and helps them solve problems as needed.
• Lead by example as their onshore peer.

WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR

• 8-10+ years of proven experience in backend development - specifically: Java/J2EE, Spring Boot, Hibernate, Microservices, MongoDB, Spring Data JPA, along with these AWS components:
• SQS/any RDBMS required
• Fargate, DocumentDB, Lambda, CodeBuild, CodePipeline, and Aurora PostgrSQL would be very helpful
• Working knowledge of Docker/containers and JSON is required
• Exposure to React and Next could be helpful, but not required
• AWS certifications are strong nice to haves
• Clear and effective verbal and written communication skills
