About the Project
Financial Journey Foundation (FJF) It is an enterprise-wide, cross-business initiative to upgrade our financial accounting systems and lay a stronger foundation for future growth. At its core, FJF replaces our obsolete PeopleSoft system with Oracle’s cloud Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP)—modernizing how finance work is done across the company. FJF will impact other business systems, processes and data management that informs decision-making, and the skills needed in supporting roles.
1.We're Replacing Aging Systems with Modern Tools- The FJF is transitioning from legacy systems like PeopleSoft to a cloud-based ERP, streamlining processes and reducing manual work to better support global operations.
2. FJF Will Enable More Business Agility- Expect improved access to consistent data, better reporting tools, and automation that frees up time for higher-value work and enabling greater business agility to quicky adapt to business changes or disruptions.
WSRS had kickoff on 11/4/25
Contractor will work with another PM in our Platform space who came from Finance and has more background regarding this project.
Data conversion: will begin late February 2026 and will continue iteratively through early 4Q26. Resources will be needed for validation and to resolve variances.
System Integration Testing (SIT): March 9, 2026 - April 3, 2026. For systems sending information to the Oracle solution (inbound), the target is for all integrations to be updated and ready for testing. Testing for systems receiving data from the Oracle solution (outbound) will follow shortly after.
User Acceptance Testing (UAT): mid-July through mid-August.
Day 1 MVP for going live 1/1/2027.
Qualifications:
2+ years of business, technology, or product management experience; or equivalent demonstrated through the following: work experience, training, military experience, or education.
Prior experience in a product environment and exposure to the Product Manager role.
Experience with strategic thinking and decision making in a professional context.
Experience with managing multiple workloads and/or competing priorities in a professional context.
Experience with stakeholder and relationship management in a professional context.
Demonstrated experience leading, influencing, and negotiating in a professional team environment.
Demonstrated experience leveraging diverse perspectives and using data to inform action.
1+ year working in a highly collaborative, fast-paced environment with engineering teams and stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
Product Strategy:
Partners with a Product Manager or Senior Product Manager to understand the product strategy for a lower complexity / sensitivity product.
Develops understanding of product strategy in context of the enterprise and business strategies.
Responsible for executing against the strategy as part of a product team(s) 5%
Product Discovery:
Accountable for understanding and defining key business outcomes and requirements for their product.
In partnership with PM or Senior PM, identifies opportunities/problems to solve and articulates hypotheses.
Leads the product team (design, engineering, and various business roles) in ideating and running experiments.
Executes experiments as part of a product team (in partnership with design, engineering, and various business roles).
Assesses value of experiments, collaborates to draw out insights, and shares learnings with key partners and stakeholders. Based on learnings, determines which work should be prioritized into the product.
Accountable, with Product Manager or Senior Product Manager, for improving or maintaining an effective parallel discovery and delivery model.
Product Delivery:
Is accountable for success of product delivery in collaboration with technology and non-technology partners.
In partnership with other members of a team, work to remove impediments and manage dependencies that the team may face in the pursuit of value creation.
Ensures the product team has the business, customer, user, and stakeholder context required to solve problems effectively and efficiently.
