Position Overview:
The Infrastructure Project / Program Manager (Construction Management) will support new facility and site delivery projects. This role is responsible for managing multiple infrastructure buildouts simultaneously and ensuring the successful planning, procurement, installation, and coordination of all network and low-voltage systems. The PM will work closely with business stakeholders, general contractors, architects, engineers, and technology vendors to ensure infrastructure readiness aligns with construction schedules.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage concurrent delivery projects across different stages
• Lead infrastructure planning
• Strong experience with network and infrastructure equipment, including:
• Participate in early design phases (up to one year prior to construction) to support network and infrastructure design
• Review and interpret architectural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing (MEP), and reflected ceiling plans to assess technical and structural impact
• Work with construction teams and builders to ensure proper network room layouts, power distribution, and cabling pathways
• Manage hardware ordering timelines to ensure equipment arrives in alignment with project schedules
• Create and manage project plans, track milestones, and monitor labor burn against project timelines
• Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to issue purchase orders, track shipments, and resolve delays
• Communicate scope changes, pricing impacts, and additional equipment needs to the Program Manager for budget approvals
• Maintain detailed project documentation and provide regular status updates to business and technical stakeholders
• Participate in calls with business leaders, general contractors, architects, and engineering partners
• Ensure site readiness for certificate of occupancy and technology cutover activities
• Support go-live and handoff to operations teams
Required Qualifications:
• 10+ years of Project Management experience supporting infrastructure, construction, or facilities technology projects
• Experience working in large, enterprise environments
• Strong understanding of infrastructure and low-voltage systems in commercial buildings
• Ability to read and interpret construction and architectural drawings
• Knowledge of IT closets, power distribution, and structured cabling
• Experience managing vendors, contractors, and third-party installers
• Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
• Proven ability to take initiative, research solutions, and resolve issues independently
• PMP certification (active) required
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Engineering, or related field preferred
• ITIL knowledge preferred
