As Senior Manager of Content Marketing, you will define and lead Privy’s content strategy across all channels. You’ll be responsible for shaping our brand narrative, positioning Privy as a thought leader, and driving a measurable impact on brand awareness and demand generation. You will oversee the full content lifecycle — from strategy and ideation to execution and performance analysis — and lead a team of content creators and external partners. This role reports to the VP of Marketing.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and own a comprehensive content strategy that supports Privy’s brand, demand generation, and customer education objectives.
- Oversee the creation of high-impact content across all formats, including blog posts, whitepapers, guides, case studies, email campaigns, video scripts, webinars, and more.
- Build, mentor, and manage a high-performing content team, including internal writers and external agencies or freelancers.
- Partner closely with product marketing and demand generation to align content initiatives with key business priorities and campaign goals.
- Lead the development and management of an editorial calendar to ensure consistent, timely, and strategic content delivery.
- Own and evolve Privy’s brand voice and messaging guidelines to ensure consistency across all content.
- Oversee SEO and content distribution strategies to maximize reach and discoverability.
- Define and track content performance metrics; analyze results to inform future strategy and optimize ROI.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with design, sales, customer success, and leadership teams to amplify the impact of content across the customer journey.
Requirements
- 5-7 years of experience in content marketing, with at least 3 years in a leadership role, ideally within SaaS or e-commerce tech.
- Proven track record of building and executing content strategies that drive measurable business impact.
- Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills.
- Deep understanding of content’s role in the buyer’s journey and in demand generation.
- Strong expertise in SEO, content analytics, and performance measurement.
- Experience managing and mentoring content teams and working with external partners.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to translate business goals into content initiatives.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Collaborative and persuasive communicator; able to influence stakeholders at all levels.
