This one’s for the DeFi experts.

We’re working with a team that’s building serious automation tools in the decentralised finance space—think smart contract interactions, leverage loops, and complex swaps. They’ve had contractors help build the core codebase, but now they’re ready to bring it all in-house.

That’s where you come in.

We’re looking for an experienced Python Developer who knows their way around DeFi and automation. Someone who’s ready to take ownership of an existing framework and build on it long-term.

You’ll need solid Python skills, but that’s just the start. This role is ideal for someone who’s also familiar with JavaScript, TypeScript, and React—because while the automation core is in Python, the wider ecosystem includes a modern web stack. If you’ve built automations in DeFi before, even better.

More about the client and the role

• This team has built an internal automation tool that powers yield-generating strategies using DeFi protocols.

• The framework handles automated swaps, leverage loops, and more.

• It’s all written in Python, integrated with smart contracts via tools like web3.py.

• You’ll also be working in a tech stack that includes React, TypeScript, and JavaScript, so any front-end or full-stack exposure is a plus.

• Your role will be to take over, run with it, and keep improving how it works.

• The project is already live and integrated with major protocols. If you’ve worked with similar asset management tools before, that’s a huge bonus.

Who are we looking for?

• Someone who’s built DeFi automations before and understands the risks and rewards.

• Strong Python skills and experience working with web3 tools (e.g. web3.py).

• Experience with React, TypeScript, and JavaScript is essential.

• Familiar with swaps, lending, borrowing, yield farming, and using on-chain data.

• Happy working independently and taking full responsibility for a codebase.

• Bonus if you’ve used or contributed to DeFi protocols across Polygon, Arbitrum, or Optimism.
