The role: Senior Data Scientist (Privacy & Data Policies) – Global Media Technologies
Location: Fully remote within the UK
Salary: £115k to £120k basic + benefits (PAYE, paid weekly, within IR35)
Contract: 12 months (to start ASAP – max 4 weeks notice) with a strong possibility of extension

We’re looking for an experienced Senior Data Scientist to support privacy-focused initiatives in a high-impact, fast-paced environment. This role involves defining metrics, executing compliance strategies, and providing business insights to help teams work efficiently while maintaining privacy standards. You’ll have a relevant Big Tech background with privacy / data policy experience

Non-Negotiable Skills:

✅ A minimum of 8+ years of relevant Data Science positions with proven, in-depth SQL expertise / strong data querying capabilities.

✅ Strong Python / R proficiency – solid hands-on experience with scripting and data analysis.

✅ Proven stakeholder management & communication – Ability to translate data insights into actionable business strategies.

✅ Previous Big Tech organisation experience (ie. Google AWS, Microsoft etc) – or someone who has worked on defining metrics, executive comms, customer analytics, risk, within the Fraud / Banking industries would be a good fit also

Top Good-to-Have Skills:

➕ Risk analytics or compliance experience – A background in regulatory or risk-based data science.
