They’re currently hiring a Senior Software Developer to join a high-performing, cross-functional team within their Bookings product area. This is a hands-on role covering the full development lifecycle, from design and architecture to building, testing, and deploying impactful, real-world solutions.
What the Role Involves
- Shaping the product roadmap alongside the Product Owner and Development Manager
- Leading and contributing to software design and architecture with technical architects
- Writing clean, scalable, and maintainable code
- Helping maintain a healthy and prioritised technical backlog
- Contributing to planning, scoping, and timely delivery of software solutions
- Building high-performing, resilient distributed systems
- Ensuring end users enjoy seamless and responsive product experiences
- Continuously improving engineering practices and quality
Team & Leadership Contribution
- Mentoring and coaching fellow developers
- Promoting collaboration, engagement, and knowledge sharing
- Leading code reviews and championing engineering excellence
- Taking part in technical guilds and innovation initiatives
- Supporting recruitment and onboarding new talent
- Helping shape product and technical direction with a focus on long-term value
What They’re Looking For

Required Skills & Experience:
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with C# / .NET Core / ASP.NET and PHP
- Strong experience with JavaScript frameworks like React
- Proficient in relational databases (SQL Server, MySQL)
- Knowledge of high availability systems, caching strategies, and tools like Redis or Memcached
- Experience building distributed systems using a microservices architecture
- Exposure to high throughput, concurrent environments
- Comfortable integrating with complex real-time third-party APIs
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming, design patterns, and SOLID principles
- Familiar with unit testing, debugging, code reviews, and CI/CD pipelines
- Experienced with RabbitMQ or Azure Service Bus
- Familiar with Azure DevOps or similar tools for planning and tracking work
- Solid understanding of Agile and working in Scrum teams
- Open to learning new technologies and languages when needed
This role is based 2 days onsite in Edinburgh or fully remote anywhere else in the UK.
