Compensation: $160,000–$208,000, depending on experience

A high‑growth technology company is seeking a Senior Data Scientist to drive the machine learning systems that power recommendation, ranking, routing, monetization, experimentation, and product strategy. This is a deeply product‑facing role where you’ll own outcomes end‑to‑end and embed intelligence directly into customer‑facing experiences. What You’ll Do

• Design, test, and iterate on ML models for recommendation, ranking, routing, and monetization
• Own experimentation strategy, A/B testing, and causal inference frameworks
• Partner with engineering to productionize models and monitor real‑time performance
• Build analyses, dashboards, and tools that shape product direction and customer outcomes
• Define metrics and success criteria for new initiatives
• Deep‑dive into product and user data to uncover insights and size opportunities
• Help scale analytics infrastructure and foundational data practices
• Raise the bar for statistical rigor and experimentation across the organization

Experience That Matters

• 5+ years applying statistics or ML in production environments
• Deep understanding of experimentation, causal inference, and Bayesian/frequentist methods
• 3+ years partnering closely with Product/Engineering on API or developer‑facing products
• Strong Python and SQL skills; experience with large‑scale datasets
• Experience deploying and maintaining models in production
• Familiarity with AWS, distributed systems, and high‑volume data pipelines
• Solid foundation in linear algebra, optimization, and model evaluation
• Experience with ML ops/tooling (MLFlow, Sagemaker, vector DBs, SparkML, etc.) is a plus
