Pride Health is hiring a Sr. Product Designer to support our client’s medical facility based in California.

Job Title: Sr. Product Designer
Location: Costa Mesa, CA 92626 (Fully Remote)
Pay Rate: $85/hr. - $90/hr. on w2
Duration: 1 month + Possible extension
Shift: Part-time 15hours/per week.
Job Duties
- Collaborating with product managers and engineers, the Senior Product Designer will create intuitive, user-centered designs that meet the needs of our patients, providers, and organization.
- As a supporting design role of the principal level and Design Director positions, work on multiple products across our ecosystem, while specializing in either visual or UX design or both.
- Will be an advocate for a user-centered and data-informed product design approach and will drive the adoption of best design practices across the team and organization.
- Conduct user research and usability testing with patients, physicians, and care team members to inform design decisions and iterate on product designs.
- Conduct qualitative research and distill insights, problems, and opportunities.

- You have a deep appreciation for simplicity in design, which is reflected in the elegance of your work and the products you admire or use every day.
- Specialize in either, and maintain design systems, patterns, and best practices to ensure consistency and quality across multiple products.
- You embrace ambiguity and can work closely with the team to make quick decisions, learn from them, and iterate.
- You value rapid feedback and are not afraid to take risks.
- You thrive in ambiguous and uncharted territory, where you can create something new from scratch.
- You love exploring and iterating.
- You are an expert with our design tools — You have a strong knowledge and expertise in design tools such as Figma, Protopie, User Testing or other User Research tools.
Required Skills
- 6-9 years or more of design experience required.
- Strong portfolio showcasing design strategy and process across native and web apps with a high bar for design craft and excellence.
- Demonstrated ability to individually lead a product from ideation to launch, autonomously driving the design decisions while collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve successful outcomes.
- Specialist in either visual UI design, UX design, or both, with a strong business acumen.
- Ability to work on multiple products across our ecosystem, collaborating with the Principal Designer and Design Director positions.
- Extensive knowledge of user-centered design principles, interaction design, information architecture, and copy/content strategy.
Required Education
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Product Design, or a design-related field.
