Web Developer

Seeking an experienced Software Engineer with a strong background in web application development and experience in Python. This role will focus on building and scaling the next generation of computer-use agents by enhancing our application simulation pipeline used for training and evaluation.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and scale web-based applications within a simulation framework
• Expand and optimize app simulation pipelines for AI agent training and evaluation
• Collaborate closely with research teams to design and implement new application features
• Contribute to the infrastructure supporting advanced AI systems
• Participate in occasional onsite planning and design sessions

Required Skills

• Strong proficiency in Python, including data pipeline management
• Solid experience in web development with a Python-based backend
• Demonstrated ability to build and scale web applications
• Interest or experience in Artificial Intelligence, Computer Vision, or AI agents
• Experience working in a research or experimental development environment
• Strong design sensibility with the ability to build intuitive and visually appealing applications
• Portfolio of end-to-end applications with publicly available code

• Work on the OpenApps research ecosystem in collaboration with FAIR researchers
