Position Summary
The Sr. Manager/Manager, Field Marketing serves as the primary marketing partner for an assigned portfolio of franchise owners and brands, translating corporate marketing strategy into actionable local execution.
This role helps owners determine where to focus, how to invest their marketing dollars, what actions to take, and how success will be measured. Through structured playbooks, training, coaching, performance analysis, and ongoing support, the Field Marketing Manager helps franchise owners build effective local marketing programs and creates accountability around execution.
The role also supports new franchise owners through the Owner Experience Program (OXP) and their first 90 days following training.
Key Responsibilities
Owner Marketing Strategy & Coaching: Serve as the primary marketing partner for assigned franchise owners, providing quarterly 1:1 coaching, actionable marketing plans, ongoing guidance, and accountability.
Monthly Marketing Playbooks: Execute monthly marketing priorities with clear goals, recommended owner actions, supporting resources, and measurable outcomes.
Owner Education & Communication: Deliver weekly owner communications, monthly training, weekly office hours, and vendor or subject-matter-expert education as appropriate.
Local Marketing & Budget Guidance: Help owners allocate marketing investment across digital marketing, reputation, referrals, retention, community engagement, partnerships, events, and grassroots marketing.
Performance & KPIs: Monitor marketing performance and translate metrics such as leads, conversion, customer acquisition, revenue, reputation, and marketing return into clear recommendations and next steps.
OXP & New Owner Support: Deliver marketing training during OXP and provide structured support during each owner's first 90 days to establish strong launch and local marketing practices.
Brand & Vendor Partnership: Participate in monthly brand calls and work with Brand Leadership, Operations, corporate Marketing, and approved vendors to support owner execution and address performance opportunities.
Field Insights: Identify recurring owner needs, successful local tactics, vendor issues, and market opportunities and share actionable feedback with Marketing leadership.
Ideal Candidate
5+ years of experience in franchise, field, multi-location, local, or related marketing
Experience working directly with franchise owners, business owners, or local operators preferred
Strong understanding of local marketing strategy, budgeting, digital marketing, reputation, referrals, and grassroots marketing
Ability to interpret marketing and business-performance data and turn it into actionable recommendations
Strong coaching, presentation, communication, and relationship-management skills
Highly organized and comfortable managing multiple owners, brands, and priorities
Proactive, data-informed, and comfortable influencing execution without direct authority
Franchise or home-services experience strongly preferred
