Senior Product Marketing Manager

The Role

Own how company is positioned, packaged, and sold. You’ll lead messaging, GTM plays, sales enablement, proof/ROI, launches, and competitive intelligence—equipping Sales and Customer Success to win and expand enterprise deals.

Reports to the VP of Marketing; partners closely with Product, Sales, CS, Growth, Events, and RevOps.

Core Responsibilities

1. Messaging & Category Narrative

  • Own core positioning and persona-specific adaptations (CIO/CISO, Claims, Service, COO/CFO, Distribution)
  • Evolve and maintain the “System of Action for Insurance” narrative
  • Ensure consistency across web, decks, outbound, and campaigns

2. Use-Case GTM Plays (Sales, Servicing, Claims)

  • Build and maintain 2–3 core enterprise plays
  • Define target buyers, pain points, proof points, objections, and stage-specific assets
  • Align campaigns and events to these plays

3. Sales Enablement & Deal Acceleration

  • Develop and maintain the enterprise deal kit (decks, 1-pagers, ROI models, security narratives, objection guides)
  • Support onboarding, training, and content adoption
  • Reduce friction in security and procurement cycles

4. Proof, ROI & Customer Stories

  • Build and scale a proof library (case studies, proof cards, ROI narratives)
  • Standardize how outcomes are communicated (revenue, cost, CX impact)

5. Product Launches

  • Lead launch strategy and rollout for new capabilities
  • Own internal enablement and external messaging

6. Competitive Intelligence

  • Own battlecards, win/loss insights, and market tracking
  • Maintain a trusted source of truth for Sales

Success (First 90–180 Days)

  • Clear messaging framework adopted across teams
  • 2–3 complete GTM plays live
  • Standardized deal kit in active use
  • Battlecards embedded in sales motion
  • Steady cadence of proof and case studies

Impact Metrics

  • Enablement adoption and seller feedback
  • Funnel lift (SQL→SQO→Closed)
  • Improved deal velocity
  • Competitive win-rate improvements
  • Proof assets shipped and used in pipeline

Profile

  • 6–10+ years in B2B SaaS product marketing, enterprise preferred. (Bonus if you come from an InsurTech company)
  • Strong narrative builder for technical, regulated buyers
  • Excellent writer and deck creator
  • ROI- and commercially-minded
  • Proven cross-functional operator

Experience in vertical SaaS, AI, workflow automation, contact center, or insurance tech preferred.

Compensation Range: $135,000-$180,000
