Freelance Designer

We’re looking for a skilled and creative Apparel Designer to develop original clothing and merchandise concepts for our animal-focused brands. This is a freelance, project-based role with compensation paid per design delivered and approved.

If you have a strong portfolio, a sharp eye for brand storytelling, and a love for animals, we’d love to see your work.

What You’ll Do:

• Create custom apparel designs (e.g., t-shirts, hoodies, hats) that align with our brand identities.
• Present design concepts and deliver production-ready files upon approval.
• Design for multiple brands across different animal themes and audiences.
• Ensure designs are unique, brand-consistent, and ready for printing/manufacturing.

What We’re Looking For:

• 3+ years of experience in apparel or merchandise design.
• A strong portfolio of original designs (must include apparel or merchandise examples).
• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, or similar design tools.
• Understanding of apparel production processes (e.g., screen printing, embroidery).
• Ability to take feedback and deliver final files quickly and professionally.

Additional Pluses:

• Experience designing for lifestyle or animal-centric brands.
• Passion for animals, wildlife, or nature.
• Familiarity with DTC and e-commerce brand aesthetics.
• Access to professionally shot animal imagery—we have an onsite photographer available to provide custom animal assets as needed.

This is a great opportunity for freelance designers looking to contribute to meaningful and fun animal-themed brands—while working on a per-project basis.
