Senior BI Data Scientist

PRAXIS is an IT consulting company with more than 25 years of experience. We have operations in 10 countries, including Spain, the United States, Mexico, Brazil, Colombia, Peru, Panama, Costa Rica, and Argentina. Our main clients belong to industries such as financial services, insurance, construction, automotive, and others.

We are looking for a (1) Senior BI Data Scientist to join an international data and analytics team supporting Transaction Banking initiatives within the financial sector.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, Engineering, or related field

• 4+ years of experience in Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, Data Science, or Data Engineering roles

• Experience working in Banking, Financial Services, FinTech, SaaS, E-commerce, or similar commercial environments

• Strong SQL skills (Microsoft SQL Server preferred)

• Advanced experience with Power BI or Tableau

• Experience working with Dataiku or Alteryx (preferred)

• Strong understanding of data modelling and analytical reporting

• Experience building dashboards, KPI monitoring solutions, and business performance reports

• Knowledge of revenue analysis and financial performance management

• Experience working with multiple structured data sources

• Knowledge of Artificial Intelligence (AI) or Large Language Models (LLMs) is a plus

• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

• Experience working in Agile environments

• Advanced English level (C1+)
