Project Manager - Ongoing Contracts

We look to engage with highly strategic and results-oriented Project Managers to join our consulting team. This pivotal role demands a proven ability to simultaneously oversee multiple, complex client engagements, leveraging deep expertise in SaaS suites preferably Atlassian, Appfire, Tempo and Smartbear. The ideal applicant will be a visionary leader, adept at navigating intricate program landscapes, translating technical capabilities into tangible business outcomes, and fostering robust client relationships.

Consultant Expectations

• Program Leadership & Strategic Portfolio Management: Lead and manage a portfolio of interconnected projects for our clients, ensuring strategic alignment, optimized resource allocation, and seamless integration across diverse initiatives. You will be responsible for the holistic success of programs, delivering on key milestones and objectives while driving measurable business value. This includes a strong focus on utilizing Planview's strategic portfolio management capabilities to guide overall investment and execution.
• SaaS Platform Expertise & Technical Acumen (Atlassian, Apptio, Planview): Leverage in-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with the Atlassian suite (e.g., Jira, Jira Align, Confluence, Jira Service Management) for agile project management, ITSM, and enterprise-wide planning. Possess a strong understanding of Apptio's Technology Business Management (TBM) solutions for IT financial management, cloud cost optimization, and enterprise agile planning, enabling clients to tie technology investments to clear business value. Additionally, demonstrate proficiency in Planview's project portfolio management (PPM) and work management tools, including their capabilities for strategic portfolio management, resource management, and value stream management. This includes a strong technical understanding of software, cloud infrastructure, data integration, and potentially scripting within these ecosystems.
• Client Relationship Management: Serve as a primary point of contact and trusted advisor to senior client stakeholders at the program level. Effectively understand their overarching business needs, communicate complex technical and program-level concepts in clear business terms, and expertly manage expectations and relationships to ensure high client satisfaction and program success.
• Project Governance & Delivery Excellence: Establish and maintain robust program governance structures, including comprehensive reporting, proactive risk management, and rigorous quality assurance across all constituent projects. You will ensure that projects within your program are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards, continuously identifying and mitigating risks and resolving dependencies.
• Continuous Learning & Platform Evolution: Stay at the forefront of the rapidly evolving SaaS landscape, particularly regarding new features, best practices, and advancements within Atlassian, Apptio, and Planview products. Proactively pursue professional development and relevant platform certifications to enhance your expertise and contribute to our firm's intellectual capital.
• Strategic Growth & Business Development: Actively contribute to business development efforts by identifying potential new opportunities within existing client relationships and playing a key role in developing compelling proposals and selling new consulting engagements that leverage our program management and platform expertise.

What We Look For

• Progressive experience in program management, with a significant portion of that experience gained within a fast-paced consulting firm, demonstrably managing multiple, simultaneous projects.
• Deep expertise and hands-on experience with the Atlassian suite (Jira, Jira Align, Confluence, Jira Service Management) for various aspects of project, product, and service management.
• Proven experience with Apptio's TBM solutions (e.g., Apptio Costing, Planning, Cloudability, Targetprocess) for financial transparency, optimization, and strategic alignment of IT investments.
• Solid understanding and practical application of Planview's solutions for strategic portfolio management, project portfolio management, resource management, and work management.
• Strong technical acumen, capable of understanding and discussing software architecture, cloud infrastructure, data integration patterns, and potentially light scripting or configuration within these SaaS platforms.
• Exceptional client-facing skills, including executive-level communication, impactful presentations, negotiation, and advanced stakeholder management.
• Robust project management and program governance skills, with relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, PgMP, SAFe) highly desirable.
• Relevant certifications in Atlassian products (e.g., Jira, Jira Align), Apptio TBM certifications are a significant advantage.
• Ability to thrive in complex, ambiguous client environments, demonstrating strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
• Willingness to travel to client sites as required.
