Software Engineer (Full Stack)

About the Role

Praan Health is building India’s first family-led, full-stack healthcare platform to prevent and reverse chronic conditions in aging adults — with structured strength training, medical oversight, and AI-driven care protocols.

As a Founding Full Stack Engineer, you’ll work directly with our CTO to build the foundation of this platform — from scalable mobile and web experiences to backend systems that power longitudinal health tracking, clinician workflows, and predictive intelligence. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in early-stage chaos, values impact over hierarchy, and is excited to shape the technical DNA of a healthtech company from Day 0.

Responsibilities

Architect and build our core digital products, including:

• Mobile app (React Native)
• Admin dashboards and clinician portals (React)
• Backend APIs and microservices
• Integrate with third-party systems like diagnostic labs, wearables, etc.
• Collaborate closely with clinical, product, and design teams to rapidly prototype and ship features
• Ensure secure, scalable, and privacy-first data systems
• Define and implement early development workflows, CI/CD pipelines, and engineering practices
• Help recruit and mentor early engineers as we grow

Minimum Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience building full stack applications (React/React Native, Node.js, Python)
• Strong frontend skills — component libraries, UX optimization, responsive design
• Experience working with cloud infrastructure (GCP, Firebase, AWS, etc.)
• Experience with databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB) and API design
• Familiarity with health data privacy norms and working with sensitive data

Bonus Points (Very Important)

• Prior experience in healthcare, wellness, or fitness-tech startups
• Built or integrated AI/ML models into a consumer product
• Experience with real-time video, biometric devices, or Bluetooth integration
• Passion for elder health, family-driven care, or solving for Bharat
